I’m finally free from all the hurt

Although these things I can never erase

Moving on, being strong, I will insert

Happiness and peace has already found their place

I’m free of all the trouble and lies

I have truly found my happy place

I’m looking forward to becoming someone else’s prize

And to seeing happiness on my face

It took a long time to get here

But I finally made it through

I finally got over all the fear

And now I’m ready for what’s new

I never knew being stuck had a long length

I never knew it would be hard to move on

I didn’t know my own strength

And I didn’t know I was so strong

Now there’s a change that has to be

And it will include me

Now there’s a new way I must see

But thank God, I’m finally free
